Well we're goin'.
I've never been, but I'm riding from British Columbia down. Looking forward to it. But there is a lot of things to see and do there.
Ozzy will be awesome. Hoping for that to be the pinnacle of the trip. ZZ Top will be great too. There is so many there. I have three VIP passes. [Ozzy, ZZ Top and Disturbed]
Planning on riding to Deadwood, Devil's Gap, and Mt Rushmore. I saw on the Sturgis website, there is a $20 guide. I dunno if it's worth it, but I've considered it.
Staying at Buffalo Chip.
Hopefully try the machine guns, and maybe the skydiving.
Any thoughts, suggestions, or comments?

I suggest riding to yellowstone park while out there. Sturgis to Cote wy. Stay in Cote. Ride the park one day or two, then ride a day to redlodge Mt.

I've made the trip from BC quite a few times. I agree, ride through Yellowstone (ya gotta be relaxed about the slow moving traffic through the park), Ride into Red Lodge from the south. The switchbacks coming down the mountain are amazing. Cody is a great stop. Paid $3/night for a tent spot at the west end of town. (the ground looked cleaner that the rooms they had) After that, take Hwy 16 through Ten Sleep to Buffalo. It's a nice, scenic road before hitting the interstate. Gas up, cool your bike a bit before you hit the chaos on Lazelle St. in Sturgis. In the Black Hills, you definitely want to do Iron Mountain Road and Needles Hwy. I'll be down again this year staying at Lamphere. It's an easy crawl to the tent from the Full Throttle
