Looking for opinions on Klockwerks and longride shields
for 09 street glide. Installed standard EL shield when I bought want a little feedback before buying a piece
of crap.  

Considering the Klockwerks windshield as well. Put on a Clearshields windshield on my 08 Ultra . It was OK at lower speeds but when i cranked it on in the desert I had problems with stability in the front end over 95 mph.I checked everything and believe I was getting lift on the front end related to the windshield making it prone to wobble etc. Hoping the Klockwerks unit will help with that.  

Thanks for a reply. I installed fairing lowers on the SG when I bought it. I noticed I get a updraft from them that hits under the chin but they come off during the texas summer. I have read that the Klockwerks 8.5 works good but $150 for something that may suck is like vegas. The comments I have been able to find on the longride shield are good 8" if your 5'-10 or 5'-11 and 9" if your 6' or 6-1. The LR shield is under $100 I'll probably wind up going with blind luck. Whatever I get you can be sure I'll post comments.

Well guys I purchased the Klockwerks 6.5 back over a year ago while at LasVegas Bikefest...best thing I did. Everything I have encountered...wind, rain and even flurries makes my ride more enjoyable. I'm 5'8 and the 6.5 was perfect for me. Long haul...went from Vegas to Mesa,AZ to Cottonwood,AZ and back to Vegas I felt the Klockwerks 6.5 did its justice. The only drawback is the batwing versus the shark nose....if i had to do it all over i would have gone to the road glide...ty Tom @ HendersonHD. Hope it helps you guys out with making a decision.
