Hi guys I just found this place. I just bought my first bagger a 2005 flht with a 103" se kit,211 cams, 103+ heads and true duals and a 51mm se carb. What kinda hp/torque do you think this thing is puting out? It seems really stout. It seems to me that maybe that carb is too much for the engine. I mean it loves it at wot, but the bike smells rich and the garage even smells like the bike has been running in there even though it hasn't. What should I look for as far as worn out parts? The bike has 29,000 miles on it. I'm going in to the primary its kinda loud when you crank it over. Like the starter gear isn't fully engaging all the way. Thanks guys
Dale

Just joined myself a few minutes ago. I also have a 2005 FLHT. Hey Sexton sounds like you might have a loose compensator sprocket. This happened to me also. Don't be runnin' that motor til you get it checked out. That sprocket threads to your crank. If you mess up those threads, well its bad news. Good luck. Bud
