I just finished dyno tuning this bike. I built the engine this past winter and the customer put enough miles on it to run it on the dyno.
103 lighter crank (like the ones that come in the 2007 and later bikes), CNC HTCC Heads, bee hive springs,.032" head gasket, Woods TW-6H cams, V&H Pro Pipe w/o baffle, SERT,49mm T/B, larger injectors

Hi Vryquik,
When you say CNC HTCC Heads, are they 'stock' SE HTCC heads, or have they been massaged?
I've talked to you before, but I have to stay warranty friendly for now... [103 ST 2]

I looked in the 2009 SE catalog but I didn't see these heads. I installed these heads on this guys bike in 2004 when it was a 95". Back then Harley offered a HTCC and a CNC HTCC head. The HTCC head had a raised intake floor that required a special intake with a raised floor. The CNC version is very similar to the CNC MVA p/n 16925-08. These heads came with a 1.90 intake valve.

Hi,
Thanks,
I know I've been reading a lot by Donny Petersen, and bought his two volumes. He states head flow and AFR is the place to start, not 103" kits. The HTCC weren't in the new SE catalog. I was going to look at the 103+ or the MVA Heads, but then this is just me dreaming up a build...
The 103 ST 2 is Dealer recommended, and almost 'the only way.' [they say] Unless I went 110". But the 103 is $3000, the 110" is $5000. These are Canadian prices, but they both are warranty friendly.
Hell they won't let me buy the 103 ST 2 w/o intake and exhaust, about $500 of parts I already have.
This eliminates Heads, cams other than the kit included ones, or SERT [or what ever they run now...]
I'm going to wait until winter now anyhow... So there is still lots of evenings for research.
Thanks again.
