I have proudly owned a 07 Ultra Classic for about 18 monthes now. My only concern so far, and it is a very minor one, is that the tour pack latches keep vibrating loose and once they do the threads are stripped from the vibration and won't re-tighten. Harley has replaced them once already. Am I the only one experiencing this? If not does anyone have any info on a good fix?

Wow, my T-pak vibrates a bunch (chop box) and I have never had my hardware back out, have had it apart too, I have always used loctite blue and toured to the northwest (Montana) from Florida and to the Northeast (Nova Scotia)and just took it apart again in December to paint and it was as tight as I had left it, just reassembled it last week and blue loctite again.
Hope this helps, Slick

We noticed the same thing on my bro's 07 ultra. Sounds like your bike and his found the resonant frequency of the latch or some such weird thing. He tried a couple of things and we finally ended up doing the jeffgholt fix with a twist. Red loctite and to assist, a very small spot (smaller than a dime) of 3M Super Weatherstrip & Gasket Adhesive part # 08002 behind the latch before mounting. If you use that stuff correctly, and do the loctite on the mounting hardware, you should be good.

It occurs to me that a few might now know how to get benefit from the 3M product I noted. This stuff comes in a tube, is yellow, used to be used to finish-attach the edge of vinyl tops to metal and whatever, and is very useful for reattaching weatherstripping, but only when used correctly. It IS NOT silicone. If you use that stuff under hardware, it will actually help it come loose later. So, squeeze a tiny bit out on your pinky and touch it to the latch side. You want a small smear, not a round pile or pea-size portion. Make sure you have just enough on there so if you test-fit the latch, the smear will partially transfer to the pack side. So, as you probably guessed, put the latch in place and then remove it and allow the stuff on BOTH sides to dry (about 20 minutes or so). Once dry, put an additional tiny smear on ONE side and mount the latch. Hope that helps. The main issues are not using very much and prepping it properly. The stuff is available at pretty much any hardware or autoparts store. Don't buy the offbrand because it is often some kind of silicone and that stuff has not place on your bike.
