I bought a new 2009 Street Glide in November. So far I've only added Vance & Hines Oval slip-ons.
Waiting to read more on the 2009 Street Glide Project Bike featured in the June issue.  

Just saw the new Kawasaki 09 Nomad 1700. Man what a beauty! 103cc engine, 6 speed tranny, cruise control (finally) & top loading bags. the rear on this is a wide as wide can be. I sat on it & because they have shortened the steering head it felt like I was sitting on a H-D. I enjoyed the 3 extra inches of leg room the 07 & 08's had, oh well everything changes eventually. So, ok, Toph, Jeff, step up to the plate & let's get a FEATURE done on the 09 Nomad & Voyager SOON ?????

I have a 2009 flhx in silver. Vance and hines oval slip ons. 3.5 inch black flare windshield that creates a great pocket and im 6'3 225lbs. smoked out turn signals and taillight. this is my 3rd harley, ive only had it about two weeks, but this is the best one yet. My last bike was a 2004 road king custom. The new design of the frame and the tires makes this bike ride so much better. I was a little worried with the fairing and all but ive put this bike through the twistes just as fast and hard as the road king. If your on the fence about going to get an 09 i highly recomend getting one.

New member here. Seattle area. My daily ride is an 08 Victory Vision Street. I also have a 1974 FLH for the sunday rides.

Last October, I decided to build a bike. My last big twin was a '76 FLH Liberty Edition Police Parade bike. I was trying to recreate that wide, low style of comfortable cruising using a custom Softail-type frame. The bike is too new to hang with the 'ol school crowd and too fat to be considered a chopper. So, I guess by all rights, I'm building a custom bagger.

 

I ride a 2005 HD Springer Softail.  Add ons include a Race Tuner Kit, Big Throat air ket, windshield, replaced the front mirrors and turnsignals with the HD Lighted mirror kit in Black Chrome, Changed the grips controls, floorboards, added rear floorboards and custom chroming with the POW MIA motif.  Changed the tombstone taillight/brakelight to LEDS.  Smoked lenses on the rear brakelight and turnsignals.  Sampson fishtail pipes, HD Leather Saddlebags hard mounted.  Lowboy HD Seat with backrest.  HD GPS system on handlebars.  Midheight passenger backrest with rack.  Custom chrom POW MIA air cleaner, horn cover, Derby Cover, Inspection Plate, Points cover, and emblem for the backrest.  Windshield engraved with the POW MIA insignia.  Black Chrome trim for the windshield.  Black moustache front engine guard.  Leather POW MIA chaps for the engine guard by Desert Dawg.  Sounds great, runs better, and can spend all day in the wind.
